Garrett Dunn is a Western-Kentucky native and graduate of Mayfield High School. He graduated at the top of his class from Western Kentucky University’s Construction Management program and founded the AGC Student Chapter there. Garrett began working with some of the top general contractors in the United States, running projects in several vertical markets, including commercial/hospitality, mixed-use, higher-education, and heavy-industrial, (with some projects taking him as far as Southeast Asia).
Garrett has been married to his wife Bethany since June of 2020, and they have two boys. After being on the road for a few years, Garrett found an opportunity to get back to Kentucky and is currently a Project Manager for Ray Black & Son, Inc., a family-owned general contractor that has been operating in Western Kentucky for over 100 years.
Although construction and development are a true passion of his, when Garrett is not at work you can find him firing up a grill or BBQ pit, fishing, hunting, playing guitar, or traveling with his family to experience what a new place has to offer.
